What the AEEG Resolution 786/2016 says

It was published by the Authority for Electricity, Gas and Water, Resolution 786/2016 / R / EEL of 22 December 2016. The Resolution relates to the timing for the application of the new provisions provided for by the law cei 0-16 and the new edition of the CEI 0-21 standard relating to inverters, interface protection systems and tests for storage systems and follows the document for consultation 614/2016 / R / EEL and includes (for the moment in part) any reports received from the authority.

Let's see in summary what the resolution provides for the application of the requirements relating to the CEI EN 50438 and the requirements for verification of the interface protections of production facilities. All installations with a nominal power of more than 11.08 kWp are subject to this requirement, otherwise all the active agreements (INCENTIVES in the Energy Account + SSP / RID) will be suspended. The Deliberation in question provides that the checks with relay test box on the protection systems installed in active users connected in BT or MT, are carried out according to the following criteria:

• in the case of production plants connected in medium voltage (MV) with power exceeding 11.08 kW, for the interface protection systems;
• in the case of production plants connected in low voltage (LV) with power greater than 11.08 kW, for the protection systems only with dedicated device (external protection relay)

TIMING OF CHECKS

• PLANTS ENTRY INTO OPERATION: From 1 August 2016 onwards
  TIMING: within 5 years from the date of entry into service;
  

  
  

• PLANTS ENTRY INTO OPERATION: From 1 July 2012 until 31 July 2016
  TIMING: by the last date between:
  a) March 31, 2018
  b) 5 years from the date of entry into service
  c) 5 years from the previous documented verification;
  

  
  

• PLANTS ENTRY INTO OPERATION: From  1 January 2010 until 30 June 2012,
  TIMING: by the last date between: 
  a) il 31 december 2017 
  b) 5 years from the date of entry into service
  c) 5 years from the previous documented verification;
  

  
  

• IMPIANTI ENTRATI IN ESERCIZIO: fino al 31 dicembre 2009
  TIMING: by the last date between: 
  a) 30 september 2017 
  c) 5 years from the previous documented verification;
